Preparation for the Workshop

 

You’ve already been added to the Pause Is The Portal Course and the Group in the  https://www.internationalmetaconsciousnessacademy.com membership and should have received your login details. If you haven’t received them, please check your spam folder and then email us at helpmeatchangeahead@gmail.com if needed.

Next Steps:

  • Log into your group using the link provided
  • Watch the instructional video on how to access and use your group (This is a video showing how to access Meta Intro. The process is the same for Pause is The Portal)
  • Keep an eye on your emails (including spam) for event reminders

Zoom Etiquette

  • Arrive a few minutes early so we can begin together

  • Keep your camera on if you can to help us feel connected

  • Mute your microphone when not speaking to reduce background noise

Technical Requirements

Essential Setup:

  • Reliable broadband internet connection
  • Close all other tabs, iTunes, Messenger, and Facebook for optimal connection
  • Join the waiting room at least 10 minutes early
  • Use headphones for the best audio experience

Recommended Preparations:

  • Update Zoom and test your sound and video quality beforehand
  • Ensure your room is well-lit (consider a computer light if you plan to become a practitioner)
  • Update Adobe Flash Player on your computer
  • Have pen, paper, drinking water, and tissues nearby
  • Keep pets and family members out of the room
  • Dress in layers (people experience different temperature changes during energy work)

Device Notes: Android, iPad, or iPhone users may not see all participants. Computer users with wired broadband connections typically have the best experience.

 

Confidentiality and Recording

  • By attending, you agree to treat these sessions with respectful confidentiality. We’ll be recording the Zoom training, and these recordings will be available in the fully encrypted membership site with a secure forum for communication. You’ll have lifetime access to these recordings along with PDFs of the PowerPoint presentations. These recordings are only for those who have attended the online trainings and are confidential
  • Please respect our work and, as per our terms and conditions, do not share with others. This is an experiential workshop where I’ll be demonstrating with real-life examples. Please let us know if you prefer not to have any demonstrations involving you shared for educational purposes.

Practical Needs

  • Access to a printer  for handouts or worksheets to be printed prior to workshop, these will be uploaded in membership site 7 days prior to start of workshop

  • Dress in layers so you stay comfortable

  • Bring water and tissues

  • Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed free from pets, children and family, where you will feel comfortable sharing your experiences, without being overheard

Mindset and Safety

  • Arrive with open mind and curiosity

  • Know that you are in choice at all times. You can participate in the way that feels right for you

  • This is a non-judgmental space where we honour your pace, your process, and your body’s wisdom

  • Before the workshop, please take a few minutes to write down any specific questions or queries you have about menopause. As per our instructions, we believe you are already familiar with Meta Consciousness. Introduction to Meta is a pre-requisite for Pause is the Portal. We won’t have time to address complex dis-ease patterns or mental health issues, but we can explore some of those niggling questions about menopausal symptoms.
  • Start a timeline of your own health issues from puberty, your first menstrual experience, contraception, including pill, injection, etc, current symptoms that you are experiecing in the here and now here is a link for guidance No more than 6 pages typewritten

Certificate Confirmation

Important: Please email helpmeatchangeahead@gmail.com confirming your name exactly as you’d like it to appear on your certificate. Failure to do this may result in a £10 administration charge for certificate reprinting. Certificates are for  attendance for CPD purposes and will be emailed to you within 14 days of completing workshop
